Recently I have been enjoying researching how to make homemade coffee syrups, creamers and other fancy coffee drinks like homemade hazelnut latte. I don’t currently have an espresso machine but that doesn’t stop me from making something fun from my own kitchen that is healthy, from scratch and DELICIOIS!

Pro tips and things to know:

If you cook this too long the syrup will harden and crystalize as it cools. If that happens, it is ok, you should still be able to use it just fine! Spoon a small amount of the syrup into your cup of coffee and it should dissolve after a few stirs!

This recipe can be made in a single batch or doubled for a larger amount to have on hand! It also is a great gift idea for a friend or co-worker.
