It can be overwhleming to learn the health benefits of all of these and to incorporate them into your daily diet. That is why I have been focuing on one at a time and for me it is baobab right now.

baobab powder

Why baobab?

Baobab is known for incredibly amazing health benefits including that it is:

  • rich in important vitamins and minerals
  • is immune boosting
  • may aid in weight loss by promoting feelings of fullness
  • may help balance blood sugar levels
  • antioxidant content may reduce inflammation
  • high fiber content may promote digestive health
  • is an incredible superfood

There are so many health benefits of baobab powder that it is almost like a complete vitamin superfood for me. When I make a smoothie or a drink mix with it, I know that I am feeding my body wholesome and necessary vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and more. An easy way that I like to consume baobab is in this smoothie, or in my favorite Easy and healthy summer drink using these drink mixes. Purchase your baobab powder today though this link.

What does baobab powder taste like?

Baobab powder has a naturally citrus taste to it. A little like a lemon, or a sour orange.

Can you take baobab powder on a regular basis?

Yes, due to the versatility in baobab, you can take it regularly. The powerful nutrient rich superfood can offer you many benefits. Recommended daily intake is 1-2 tablespoons.

There is no reason necessarily that you should not take it regularly, however, watch your body. If you think that it is causing discomfort or other issues then possibly back off. Do your own research to determine if baobab powder is something you should not be taking on a regular basis.

What is in easy baobab fruit smoothie with stevia?

This easy baobab fruit smoothie with stevia includes:

1 1/2 cups berries– I like to use blueberries and strawberries, but basically anything I have on hand works. I’ll also add a banana half sometimes.

1 1/2 cups almond milk (or other non-dairy milk). You can also do half milk and half water.

1/4 cup heavy cream

1 T baobab – I use the Trim Healthy Mama brand either from their store or on Amazon

1 T collagen – I use the Trim Healthy Mama brand either from their store or on Amazon

1/8 teaspoon stevia or a squirt of liquid Truvia – For the stevia I use the Trim Healthy Mama brand either from their store or on Amazon. For the Truvia option, I like to use this one which also contains vanilla flavoring in it.

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend well. Make sure the frozen fruit is all blended and broken down. You may need to scrape the sides down a few times during the blending process. (Always stop the blender and unplug before scraping the sides down). If it is too thick, add additional water, about 1/4 cup at a time).

Transfer to a large drinkable container, mason jar or other favorite bottles. (See my list of recommended resources below). Serve and enjoy right away!

That’s all there is to making it, but it is FULL of health benefits for you! Enjoy!

Notes:

There are no dairy products in this recipe unless you replace the almond milk with regular milk or use kefir in place of the almond milk

You can also make kefir smoothies with baobab powder.

Boost your immunity with this powerful drink and fight off the cold germs!

Tip for making easy baobab fruit smoothie with stevia

If it is challenging for you to make recipe this due to getting your blender out of a cabinet, rooting around for ingredients or such things, try to conquer that obstacle by prepping your work area, keeping the blender in a easy to use area, having the ingredients in a consolidated and easy to reach area, etc…

F & Q:

Can you use regular milk instead of almond milk?

Yes, you can replace almond milk with regular milk

Can you make kefir smoothies with baobab powder?

Yes, you can! Add kefir in place of the milk. This is one of my favorite variations of this recipe! So good!

Can you use fresh instead of frozen fruit?

Yes, although the smoothie might be more runny in consistency and not as cold. You can add a small amount of ice to compensate for not using frozen fruit.

Is Baobab healthy for you?

Baobab powder is stuffed full with vital nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins for your health.

My favorite drink bottles and tops:
