Not only is this recipe easy and delicious but the fall flavors are so intense, real and not artificial like most store-bought ice creams are. You can taste the difference! Homemade ice cream speaks for its quality!
Healthy: This pumpkin pie ice cream recipe is made with all simple ingredients and is fast to mix up. Takes less then 5 minutes! There is no white or brown sugar in this recipe but maple syrup bursts in every bite!
There are no artificial ingredients in this recipe. Everything is fresh and probably in your pantry and fridge right now. If you are trying to avoid white sugar then this recipe is just what you’re looking for! This simple recipe uses maple syrup as the sweetener option, although you are welcome to replace with any type of sweetener that you prefer.

1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/2-2/3 cup heavy whipping cream (depending on how creamy you want your ice cream)
2 cups milk of choice (regular, or a non-dairy milk like cashew, almond, etc)
1 tsp vanilla extract or flavoring
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2-2/3 cup pure maple syrup (depending on how sweet you like your homemade ice cream)
1 egg (omit if you have concerns about consuming raw egg)
Notes: use pure pumpkin puree (homemade or store bought- not pumpkin pie filling.
