Method
- Combine milk and sweetener in a small pot (Use less- about 3 tablespoons of the sweetener if you will be adding maple syrup)
- Heat slowly for about 10 minutes stirring often. The purpose of this is only to dissolve the sweetener
- Remove from heat and pour into a jar or other storage bottle
- Add the cream, hazelnut extract and maple syrup if using. (Hazelnut extract can be strong! Don't use too much! Start with less and add more as you prefer.)
- Add optional salt and vanilla
- Shake well and store in the fridge
Notes
This will last about a week in the fridge.
